The National Youth Policy Alliance (NYPA) is a non-partisan, youth-led coalition committed to shaping a future where young voices drive bold, evidence-based public policy. What began as the Windsor City Student Council—an ambitious local initiative to elevate student voices in municipal affairs—has since grown into a nationwide movement uniting young leaders from across Canada.

We believe that youth are not just future leaders—they are today’s change agents. Through research, advocacy, and national collaboration, NYPA empowers young people to engage directly with policymakers, build civic capacity, and craft pragmatic solutions to the issues that define our generation.
